Beatz to da Streetz and Scarborough Arts Council bring you:

The Borough Most Thorough
A series of urban music workshops for youth ages 11 – 15

Explore:
Writing Lyrics
Recording, Production
& An Overview of the Urban Music Industry

Each one-week program will allow youth to collaborate and record a track that will be showcased at a listening party event. Guidance and supervision will be provided by Beatz to da Streetz instructors and program location staff.

The Borough Most Thorough 2009 is a community celebration of Scarborough’s vibrant urban music scene and a new collaborative exploration. The Borough Most Thorough 2009 will provide important life skills and give voice to youth in under-served neighbourhoods in Scarborough.
