Playwriting With Restrictions Workshop with Tarragon Theatre

SCARBOROUGH ARTS AND TARRAGON THEATRE PRESENTS

Playwriting With Restrictions: Online Playwriting Workshop For Youth 14-19

About The Workshop:

What happens when your play must take place outdoors? Or must include a cast of fifty? A baby? A coconut. Eight total words. What if the only costumes you’re allowed to use are burlap bags and scotch tape? In this two hour playwriting workshop, award winning playwright, Chelsea Woolley will lead the group in exploration of the frustrations and true inspirations of writing with restrictions.

About The Facilitator:

Chelsea Woolley is a playwright whose work includes: Enormity, Girl, and the Earthquake in Her Lungs (Nightwood’s Groundswell Festival), The Mountain (Geordie Productions), These Peaceable Kingdoms (New Words Festival) and The Only Good Boy (Theatre BSMT).
