Walter Fernandes

Walter Fernandes is an artist whose journey with painting was reignited after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2016. Through his initiative Painting with Parkinson, Walter has transformed art into a powerful form of therapy, resilience, and hope. His work has been featured by Ontario Shores, and at numerous community events. Walter’s paintings reflect strength, beauty, and the power of creativity in navigating life with Parkinson’s. He also advocates for art therapy, inspiring others to find joy and healing through self-expression. Walter’s mission is to spread awareness, support caregivers, and share how art can empower people to live with dignity and courage.
