Now in our 41st year, Scarborough Arts’ Annual Juried Exhibition continues to evolve, inviting artists to explore new ideas, perspectives, and ways of creating. And this year, we’re getting our hands dirty with MUD PIES.

Inspired by the childlike sense of wonder, whimsy, and play we often find in our earliest encounters with the natural world, MUD PIES asks artists to consider our relationship with soil and the earth beneath our feet. How does the earth shape our imagined and tangible connections to the people, places, and world around us?

For over four decades, Scarborough Arts has produced the Annual Juried Exhibition as a showcase of work by local and emerging artists in Scarborough. With incredible support from funders, sponsors, staff, volunteers, and our community, the exhibition has remained a low-barrier, high-quality opportunity for artists to share their work and connect with audiences.
