Tender Possibilities Session 2 on June 29

Introducing the second session of Tender Possibilities’ (@tenderpossibilities) Summer Series ✨💭✍️.

This session of Tender Possibilities moves through the political and spiritual frequencies of dub, spoken word, and sound poetry. Forms grounded in oral traditions that center the sonic textures of language. These poems emerge as a generative force in the ongoing (re)making of society, ideology, and aesthetics. Sung, spoken, chanted, and embodied as memory and medicine. Participants are invited to feel and inhabit these layered soundscapes, and to respond.

This session will be facilitated by Featured Poet Lillian Allen (@lillianallendubpoet) and Tender Possibilities’ founder, Farhia Tato (@farhiatato).
