The World in a Block Party is a Destination Scarborough event by Scarborough Arts and Eat More Scarborough, celebrating the food, art, culture, and community that make Scarborough one of Toronto's most vibrant places. Weekend One transformed Birchmount Community Centre & Park into a lively block party filled with artist activations, food experiences, live performances, soccer, music, dance, and community connection.
A huge thank you to everyone who made Weekend One such a success including our artists, performers, vendors, community partners, volunteers, staff, and everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Your energy, creativity, and support helped bring this event to life.
The celebration continues at Weekend Two, presented by STC!

The World in a Block Party is supported by the City of Toronto's Community Celebration Support Fund and Toronto Arts Council, with additional funding from the Ontario Arts Council, Delta Bingo & Gaming, and the Government of Canada. Live stage programming is presented in collaboration with RISE Edutainment and Soundlife Scarborough, and soccer activations are supported by Borough FC.
