Host Spotlight: The World in a Block Party
We're excited to announce that Kai Muyoboke, Kajaea Robertson, and Illinoy Roberts-Farquhar will be hosting the main stage at Weekend Two of The World in a Block Party on June 27-28 from 11 AM to 4 PM.
Join us this weekend as RISE Edutainment (rise_edt) and Soundlife Scarborough (@soundlifescarborough) take centre stage with an incredible lineup of live performances, music, and community celebration at Scarborough Town Centre.

Kai Muyoboke (June 27th)
Kai Muyoboke is a 21-year-old artist and event organizer born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Using the city as his canvas, Kai creates stories that define the experiences of his generation through multiple mediums. With experience in theatre and performance art, Kai uses his skills as an orator to host, bringing events to life. Through his presence, voice, and connection to the city, Kai aims to create spaces where artists and audiences feel seen, energized, and part of something larger than themselves.
Kajaea Robertson (June 27th-28th)
Kajaea Robertson is the Program Coordinator at RISE Arts and Community Services / RISE Edutainment, where she oversees the Open Mic series, volunteer team, and vendor markets. She is also a Spoken Word artist, MC, and vocalist, focusing her art on empowerment, mental health, and advocacy for Black youth.
Illinoy Roberts-Farquhar (June 28th)
Illinoy is an artist and producer from the Weston community of Toronto Canada with several years of experience within the Toronto music scene. He combines self-composed orchestral cinematic scores with rhythmic African percussion padded by years of RNB, Hip-hop and Caribbean genre influences to create true effortless masterpieces.
