Introducing East BAM!, a COMMUNITY+Connects Series
Introducing COMMUNITY+Connects: EAST BAM! 🤎🖤🎨🌟
EAST BAM! is a series of workshops for Black Scarborough youth (14+) to engage with the dialogue between Black history and today’s art, curated by Shamika Pierre. By navigating history, we in turn take inspiration, evolve, and understand the roots of the work we make 🌱.
Participants will explore different visual art throughout Black Arts Movement history, creating and engaging with history and art. Scroll below to learn about our East BAM! workshops, taking place at the West Scarborough Neighbourhood Centre all February long.
