Annual Juried Exhibition Launch Recap

Thank you to everyone for making our “error 404: Work in Process” launch such a SUCCESS this Saturday afternoon. This launch represented a celebration of Scarborough Arts’ 40th Annual Juried Exhibition and we’re thankful for all of the amazing artists, community members, creatives, partners, supporters, and volunteers who made the event truly phenomenal. 

This year’s exhibition asked artists to share glimpses into their creative process: the vulnerable, the cringe, the early stage works that made them into the artists they are today. Congratulations to all of our exhibited artists and winners including Krish Dineshkumar, Alicia Reid, Art of Sowl, Myuri Srikugan, and Alexander Robinson! 

This event was complemented with beautiful performances shared by Aqua Nibii Waawaaskone, as well as Dandan Zi, accompanied by Zi Wang & Matthew Pi for their performance of “The Canteen.”

✨ We’d also like to share a special thank you to the City of Toronto, Delta Bingo & Gaming, Ontario Arts Council, Above Ground Art Supplies, and Cedar Ridge Creative Centre for their support of our AJE and many other Scarborough Arts programs. “error 404: Works in Process” is on view until December 11th at the Cedar Ridge Cultural Centre at Cedar Ridge Park in Scarborough, with direct access via TTC community bus route 406 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9AM-5PM.
